Physical Intervention
Our philosophy of physical intervention as a last resort is paramount. However, when situations occur that leave no other alternative we ensure that the correct procedures are carried out to deal with the situation effectively and without recourse. A lot of this training is, similar to conflict management, psychological. Our door personnel are taught passive restraint. This system is used as a last resort to protect all those involved and innocent bystanders by using control and restraint to eject a volatile person from a venue with their health and safety in mind. Traditional locks and grapples are banned.

These moves are not in keeping with our safety ethic as they are more likely to bring harm and cause injury to the person being restrained. All physical training is conducted by ICM (Institute of Conflict Management) qualified trainers.
Psychology of Violence
This course helps security providers understand what drives certain people to act in a violent manner. This allows for greater leverage to deal effectively with potentially violent situations using a non-confrontational method
